About the course
Drawing on thousands of years of ancient wisdom and modern scientific research, Mindfulness Meditation is a powerful, non secular practice used throughout the world across cultures to alleviate stress, reduce suffering, manage unwanted thoughts, heal trauma, overcome anxiety, and improve wellbeing.
This Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation Course is designed as a doorway to understanding and practising various forms of Mindfulness Meditation to help cultivate a calm mind in a stressful world, as well as create resilience in uncertainty. Mindfulness Meditation is a skill to help navigate the day-to-day challenges of life in a conscious way that can promote personal, interpersonal and professional growth.
Over the four sessions, through talks, guided meditations and discussion, you will be introduced to Mindfulness of Breath, Mindfulness of Body, Mindfulness for Pain and Discomfort and Working with Thoughts and Emotions.
